The English Learner Group offers instructional coaching for teachers and staff to provide students with meaningful access to instruction and develop academic language. Our goal is to boost client confidence and support teacher advocacy and leadership. The focus of the instructional coaching may include:

Services and Support from Preschool through Adult

  • Individualized, side-by-side instructional coaching in the classroom

  • Standards-aligned instruction and methodology to support English learners

  • Data analysis to differentiate based on language proficiency

  • Job-embedded professional learning tailored to your needs

English Language Development and Content Area Instruction for English learners

  • Professional learning sessions to deepen understanding of Designated and Integrated ELD

  • Curriculum implementation focused on scaffolds for all EL typologies

  • Lesson design with strategies to meet the needs of all learners

  • Integration of the 4Cs, academic speaking and writing, and listening skills within lessons

Collaboration with school and/or district teams to improve achievement

  • Professional Learning Community (PLC) coaching and support

  • Data team coaching and support

  • Vertical articulation teams for EL system coherence

  • Multi-department teams for EL students with specialized needs
