The English Learner Group offers support for school level and district level administrators. This support can include:

  • One-on-One, Side-by-Side Administrative Coaching, both at the school site and the district office
  • Common Core Instruction and the Role of the Administrator as the Instructional Leader
  • English Learner Data Analysis (SBAC, CELDT/EPLAC, Benchmark Assessments, etc.)
  • Administrative Curricular Leadership Coaching and Support
  • Importance of High Levels of Accountability and Support at Every Level
  • LCFF and LCAP Guidance and Support
  • CA Accountability Dashboard, with specific support toward English Learner Progress


The focus with district  and site administrators is to build high quality instructional leaders at every level.  The importance of a successful instructional leader at the site and district level is critical to advance student achievement. English Learners especially need that level of skill and competence. Each of the elements above are critical in the development of a high achieving school/district leader.
